Let Evening Come

  1. I really like how you put the image for "let evening come" every time that that phrase came up in the poem. I really feel that it helped with the message that the poem was trying to get across. By having the same image repeated with the repeated phrase "let evening come" you fully enforced that phrase and image, which I think is the main idea of the poem. Also your tone of voice in the recording was so soft and mellow, very fitting to the message of letting evening come. Because evening should be soft and mellow and relaxing. The images that you used also portrayed the tone of the poem (relaxing) very well, it seemed every image portrayed relaxation and comfort. Great job!

  2. Great vocals! I could hear that you wanted to portray a peaceful tone and it came across very well. The imagery also matched your tone :) I too agree with Terri, your main picture really helped portray the feeling that the author was trying to get across. I believe that your choice of poem was perfect. Your voice, as well as your understanding far surpasses what my understanding would have been with this poem. Awesome job :)

  5. Excellent tone! Sweet voice. The images tell us the meaning of the poem. Very creative introduction with the music. Things happens naturally. This is my favorite part "Let it come, as it will, and don't be afraid. God does not leave us comfortless" (lines 16-18) Good job!
